Brief interlude

Four days ago I wrote the following:

Dear Friends-

Some of you know I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. This charming malady causes lax connective tissue and a host of other problems. In my case, EDS expresses itself most strongly as overuse syndromes:  tendinitis, bursitis, arthritis, and carpal tunnel syndrome.

At the moment I’m experiencing a flare and having difficulty typing. That’s a polite way of saying my arms are killing me.

Until the steroids kick in, I’ve updated the photography page on site a bit. I offer it to anyone seeking a few moments of escape from what feels like an endless barrage of heartbreaking news.

Moments after writing the above, the photography page obligingly crashed.

I called the site’s help desk, and was told the photo page could not be restored due to permanent fatal errors. Further, the entire blog needed a redesign before it, too, collapsed in similar fashion.

I did not take this well.

I know. World events. Minnesota. Add disaster of note here. My blog? Not relevant in the least.

Still.

Urgent emails were sent to my web designers at Cre8d. In about five seconds all was well. The blog? In fine health.
